Tips to Support Your Mindset, Metabolism + Movement

What makes you, YOU?

The first step to being your best self is to know who you are. What makes you, YOU?

  • Have faith in yourself
  • Be proud of your accomplishments
  • Be confident in your skills

If there’s something that scares or intimidates you, don’t be afraid to work on it and try again. You can do anything if you set your mind to it!

What is all the hype about your metabolism?

Your metabolism is what converts what you eat and drink into energy. Your body burns calories to keep your organs, skin, hair and muscles functioning. About two-thirds of these calories come from the food you eat, while the rest comes from your stored fat.

If you want to speed up your metabolism, try adding more high-intensity workouts into your daily routine. Cardio exercises like running or cycling burn calories faster than lower intensity activities such as walking or yoga does. If possible, combine both types of exercise so that all parts of your body get a workout!

By increasing muscle mass and improving strength over time, added cardio will also boost the amount of fat burned during workouts in addition to speeding up calorie burning after physical activity (known as post-exercise oxygen consumption). To see real results with this method though: make sure that any extra weight loss comes from fat, not muscle since muscle requires more energy (calories) than fat does!

Breaking down what it means to have a healthy mindset.

  • A positive mindset is one that is focused on the present, rather than being bogged down by negative thoughts. It can be hard to keep your mind in a good place when you’re constantly thinking about all of the things going wrong in your life. If this sounds like you, try putting aside time each week to focus on what’s going well in your life and why it’s important to be grateful for those things.
  • Being kind to yourself is an important step toward having a healthy mindset since people will naturally be more likely to do things that make them feel good or helps them achieve their goals if they are feeling confident and secure with themselves (like eating healthy!). Try giving yourself small rewards when you accomplish something big—whether it’s eating an apple instead of cookies every day or doing ten minutes of exercise before work—and remember that everyone makes mistakes sometimes!
  • Learning new things will help keep your brain active as well as challenge how it thinks about certain topics or ideas. One way we’ve been able to do this at home was by signing up for online classes together; for example, we both took an online course about making music with GarageBand because we were interested in learning more about how computers work! This has also helped us get used to working together effectively towards common goals which have been great preparation for our future together

Making time for your health

If you’re struggling to find time for yourself, try using an app like Momentum or Habit Streak. These apps can track the amount of time you spend on healthy activities and give you a push when needed. They also provide a feeling of accomplishment when you complete your goal! Additionally, try setting up weekly goals and scheduling them into your life by using the calendar feature on your phone or computer. This way, there is no excuse not to do what needs to be done! If possible, set up reminders so that it stays top of mind throughout the day. Lastly, keep track of how far along in your journey from unhealthy to fit you are by taking pictures every few weeks so that progress can be seen visually as well as numerically (this also helps with motivation).

Start SMALL but start NOW!

If you are struggling with a health condition or want to change your lifestyle for the better, it’s important to take it one small step at a time. By starting small and then building from there, you can start to see real results!

Start now

The best way to start is by taking action today. Don’t wait until tomorrow or next week or even next month. You will be waiting forever if you do this! Starting today will help keep the momentum going when things get tough. Progress is much more important than perfection, so don’t beat yourself up if something doesn’t go exactly how planned! Remember that everyone has bad days; just try again tomorrow

Don’t dwell on the past

It’s easy to dwell on past failures when trying something new because every day is an opportunity for improvement! Just because something didn’t work out well last week doesn’t mean it won’t work out well today…or tomorrow…or next week

If anything ever goes wrong (and sometimes even when things go right), always look forward instead of behind—you can only control what happens right now anyway

You are worth the investment!

You are worth the investment!

In my experience, people can have a hard time committing to their health and wellness goals because of fear. We fear that we won’t be able to stay committed or that we won’t be able to afford it. The truth is, investing in yourself is an important step to creating your best life. That being said, starting small is okay! You don’t have to invest thousands of dollars right away or make drastic changes overnight. Take action now and make small changes as you go along! When you are ready to take the next step, reach out for support from someone who understands where you are coming from and will help guide you through this process with no judgement attached.
